Danish applicants
Danish citizens are most welcome to apply to both Collegium
Medicum (medical faculty of the Nicolaus Copernicus University) and
Poznan University of Medical Sciences. We are noticing a
considerable increase in the number of inquiries from Denmark, and
expect a number of applications from Denmark in 2012. We are
considering offering interviews in Copenhagen for Collegium Medicum
if we get a certain number of Danish applicants.
Here
you will find information (in Norwegian) about application
deadlines for our admission tests and interviews in 2012. Please
note that our first deadline is February 15th, for early
intervies/tests for PUMS Poznan, offered also in Malmö, for Danish
and Swedish applicants.
Here you will find information on how to apply to these programs.
In order to select the best applicants irrespective of citizenship Danish grades are converted into Norwegian grades by using the official conversion table on the website of the Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service, NUCAS (Samordna opptak).Statens Uddannelsesstøtte (SU) offers loans and
grants for up to four years when Danish citizens study abroad, on
certain conditions. Since both Collegium Medicum/Nicolaus
Copernicus University and Poznan University of Medical Sciences are
renowned public universities in Poland, you will as a Danish
citizen be entitled to support from the SU if you study a medical
program in Bydgoszcz or Poznan. Since our programmes (except the
3-year physiotherapy program) last five or six years, you will need
to finance the first year (Dentistry program) or the first two
years (Medicine/6 MD and Pharm.D. programs) from other sources than
the SU.
